Sheridan Broadcasting Corporation Names Leroy Jones, Jr., Vice President of Digital Strategy
(Pittsburgh, PA) – Sheridan Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) today named Leroy Jones, Jr., Vice President of Digital Strategy. Mr. Jones will report directly to the President & General Counsel of SBC, Ronald Davenport, Jr., and will be charged with developing new digital, video, mobile, and social media content. In addition to those responsibilities, he will be charged with cultivating ecommerce consumer revenue strategies as well as launching new business partnerships.

With a successful 25-year career in Washington, D.C., Jones has worked as a legislative aide in the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives, giving him the unique experience of working on both sides of Capitol Hill.
Shortly after leaving the “Hill”, he accepted a political appointment to work at the White House for President William J. Clinton. Born and raised in North Carolina, he is a graduate of North Carolina Central University and Howard University School of Law. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the proud father of two children—a son and a daughter.
